Got my Glock 43 cortex appendix holster about a week ago and it’s truly the best holster I have ever owned. Very comfortable and it’s no problem to sit, bend down, or do whatever you may do. 10/10 recommend
Little pointy on the gut on a couple spots. But good adjustability on placement and retention for both pistol and mag. I’d like to see the mag turned 180 so ammo faces other direction.
Glad I bought it! It is very comfortable and conceals very well the G43 while wearing t-shirts. Looking forward to buy one for my G26 as well.
I didn’t expect the holster to be as comfortable as it was for the price point. Perfect at able 30% cheaper than everyone else.
After doing hours of research and going down a rabbit hole of appendix care holsters I came across the Coreflex. It checked all my boxes. "Side-car" style, with the Tier 1 ability to flex at a price that was right where I wanted to be. ALSO it got to my house in 6 day (2 days being a Saturday and sunday) the week before Christmas.
I am...... a healthy man lol. I got a few extra pounds and a little bit of a beer belly. This holster is still very comfortable for most activities. It can be uncomfortable driving in my truck or something like that, but guys with bellys have to expect that with appendix carry. I can wear it all day working around the house and messing around in the garage and its 100% fine. I also use it when I go for my (almost nightly) nightly 7-8 mile walks. I use my edc belt under my gym shorts and have the holster in the appendix position as I would if I were wearing jeans. I can walk all night and not be bothered by the holster as well as know my pistol is secured and I also have a back up mag ready to rock and roll.
I carry a glock 43 with the 6rd mag and the pinky extender, it does not print at all. My spare mag has the 2 round extension and it rides great in the spare mag holster. The 2 round extension will print if it is in the gun in the holster. At least for me it does. That why I carry the 6 rounder in the pistol.
Downsides, it took some adjusting and I did have to do a little shaving of the claw bracket. Most of that was because of my belly lol. The only other downside I can see is, I ordered my holster the week before Christmas and I ordered it without the weapon light cut out. Well, as luck would have it my dad got me a streamlight TLR-7A for Christmas. So I have to either buy a new holster to fit the light or not use the light.
So I would say make sure you weapon is set up the way you want it before you invest in this holster. At $117 it is an investment, but at that price point compared to other holsters of the same caliber, it blows the competition out of the water! I do recomend it!
